Man dies after truck crashes on I-287 in Westchester

Police have reported the names of the victims of a crash in which a tractor-trailer overturned a guardrail on an off-ramp and landed on I-287 at the interchange with I-684 in Westchester.
The driver of the tractor-trailer who died was identified as Nathan Montalvo, 42, of New Haven, Connecticut, and the motorist injured after the truck landed on the highway was identified as Aris Guerrero, 37, of New Haven, Connecticut. West Hempstead.
The accident occurred on Wednesday, January 18 at around 10:20 a.m. m. when Montalvo’s tractor-trailer lost control while traveling on the 9A exit ramp from I-287 to I-684 north in Harrison, he fell off the road and landed in the westbound lane of I-287 , according to the police.
Guerrero, who was traveling in a vehicle on I-287, was taken to Westchester Medical Center injured.
The accident is under investigation. The New York State Police are asking anyone with information to call Investigator Hettinger at 914-769-2600.
