The Hispanic Heritage was celebrated in Peekskill in style and musical groups of various genres came to the beautiful park of this city, including Ecuadorian, Peruvian, Colombian folklore, other participating countries and solo singers, in addition to performing on the stage groups of typical dance. The main group was La Sonora Dinamita, who made the audience dance nonstop.

Young people and adults presented the typical dances of their Latin American countries:

The annual event was organized by the Peekskill Hispanic Community Corp, and the support of several local institutions and businesses.

This event was attended by the Mayor of Peekskill, Vivian McKenzie, Councilman Ramón Fernández, representatives of cultural, artistic and community organizations that were present to pay tribute to the Hispanics of this city. Likewise, the county executive Geroge Latimer participated and highlighted the participation of Dinora Pacheco, president of Peekskill Hispanic Community Corp.
