Christmas is a time that slowly loses its appeal as you get older. Only when you have kids of your own do you start to rekindle those feels so that they may experience the same as you did. But with time the way it is, kids these days aren’t going to react the same way we did, especially with technology and how far it’s advanced since our time. So here are a couple of apps you and your family can share to keep the spirit of the holidays alive and full of magic.
Santa has always been a staple for those kids that believe it’s possible. Someone so kind and jolly that gives gifts to all the good kids, what more can you ask for? How about the ability to track Saint Nick as he goes on his annual voyage across the world? That’s where NORAD Santa Tracker comes in. Once December hits the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) gathers volunteers from across all time zones to help “track” his travel. They’ve even come up with a good response to the old age question of, “how Can Santa possibly get to everyone in one day?”. Short response they came up with is that Santa can time travel! Download the app to show the little ones that he can get the job done.
But how about when kids start asking for the hard proof that he exists and visited your home with his presents? Thanks to photoshop like tools we have CatchaCharacter which does exactly that. Point and shoot at your Christmas tree and add Santa to it and now you will proof that he really did came.
Hopefully now you have the concrete proof that Santa and his gifts are real. But if you’re more traditional be sure to check out Amazon for the real story of Saint Nicholas. Everyone has an origin story, his is certainly worth a read.
