A Westchester man was sentenced to five years in state prison for breaking into a Carmel home where the mother of his children and her partner lived.
Authorities say Jorge Sari-Tenesaca disabled the home’s security cameras around 1 a.m. m., he entered the house through the kitchen window and then attacked his partner in her bed.
Sari-Tenesaca was arrested at the scene. After the arraignment and release, Sari-Tenesaca was missing for 11 months until authorities tracked him down and re-arrested him.
He pleaded guilty as a second offender to one count of attempted robbery in November.
In addition to his five-year sentence, Sari-Tenesaca has been sentenced to five years of post-release supervision and was served with an eight-year protective order.
