Congressman Jamaal Bowman will be hosting a Youth Community Meeting on “The Power of Change” on Tuesday, February 21 at 6 PM. m. with White Plains Youth Bureau Keepers of the Dream, Westchester Youth Alliance, NAACP White Plains/Greenburgh – Youth Division, and White Plains High School Black Awareness Club.
Congressman Bowman will speak about the benefits of youth civic engagement and the need for youth to take an active role in their communities. Youth who volunteer can easily identify their passion and purpose by actively working on issues that interest them. It is never too early to start developing solutions to problems in our communities.
