New York State awarded more than $102 million to 64 projects through the Restore New York Communities initiative, including a new supermarket project in the town of Peekskill.

“Thanks to a state investment of $102 million, we are breathing new life into communities from Hudson to North Hempstead, fueling new economic activity and ensuring that New York State continues to be a place where people come to live, work and raise. to their families,” said New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.

One of the $2 million grants will be to build Cosmo’s Fresh Market supermarket on the 12,000-square-foot property located at 630 Washington Street in Peekskill.
