Croton-on-Hudson
This year’s Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze runs through November 20 and is the largest fall event in Westchester County. Stroll through an 18th-century landscape and discover an impressive display of more than 7,000 illuminated lanterns.
The event returned to the Hudson Valley for its 18th year and features over 7,000 artistically hand-carved pumpkins.
Once inside, visitors will see everything from animals to historical monuments, and even some creepy creatures along the way.
All of this is synced with lights and music for a fully immersive experience.
Several new exhibits this year include an animated “Jack” Smith at work in his workshop and a glowing bee hive.
The event continues on certain days until November 20.
The organizers expect the visit of more than 150,000 people. It is located at Van Cortlandt Manor 525 S Riverside, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520
