As a supplement to the nightly cleanup by the City of Yonkers, YDWBID Rangers team workers will be using this new trash vac nearly every day of the week and several times a day. The diesel vehicle has a cabin for shelter from cold weather and windy conditions, allowing for more consistent and frequent use throughout the city center.

Purchased from ExproLink, the garbage vac’s mechanical suction arm not only provides great leverage for cleaning between parked cars, but also provides the ability to train all rangers rather than the only ones strong enough to move manually the suction arm. Three YDWBID Rangers team workers are currently using this machinery, with additional rangers undergoing training.
