Who would have thought that a Jewish chef and a lovely Mexican lady would end up combining two such different cultures in one kitchen?
When Rosie and I first met, we dreamed of opening a taco shop. It was the mix of our families that brought this combination of vegan and meat-eating, Mexican and Middle Eastern families.
By making our own falafels with fresh bread and homemade tahini, latkes with fresh guacamole, Mexican matzah ball soup, the fusion of Mexican and Israeli was born.
